Sickness...People hear the word sick.  To them it means green and yellow and red, vomit and bile and blood,  beds and soups and stethoscopes.   
None of this is my sickness, no one even knows I am ill.  But to me, it is plain as day. My sharp eyes dulled, my grace made crude, and yet,  No one sees the difference.   
So, I listen to the words of men,  against the ample evidence of my own body. Fever hits, I lie in bed, and I feel like a fool for denying.   
So now I am sick, by the standard of society, and a dire illness it is.  
But I cannot insist, I cannot persuade,  lest I seem the feck Sickness...

Tales of the Blue: PirateMy head slammed against the metal table in the small, cramped mess unit.   
"I RUN THIS SHIP JONAS! DON'T FORGET IT!" yelled the voice of Dwanye, the captain, before he turned and stalked off.   
I slowly stirred and turned around, sitting on the table's bench,   
"Beer." I said to the Greecher mess cook, who began growling and grunting, something about Captain's Orders.   
"Screw Dwayne. He don't run this ship, he just enforces rules, picks targets, and takes a double share. Gimme a beer." I told him.   
The grunting took on a resigned tone as a bottle of beer was tossed onto the table. Some Tales of the Blue: Pirate

"Hello, Greg. I am a Mendosian Mark Four Medical Biosuit, which you are wearing due to severe and various physical traumas which impeded normal functions some time ago. You have been unconscious until now. Unfortunately I cannot tell you the date or time, because I have no information on your planet's calendar."   
That was the first thing I heard upon waking up, wearing this... thing. You know those slimy cocoons and stuff you see in horror films? Yeah, I was wearing a suit that looked that, and was otherwise naked.

Tales of the Blue: End"So the Intergalactic News Service wants an interview with a survivor of Old Blue?" I asked the pushy female Vixari. "I'll only give it to you if it'll actually be aired." I said.   
"Oh, it'll be aired for sure." she lied glibly.   
I sighed, and said, "Okay. Whatever. Shoot."   
"This is Knol Sark, Vixari reporter for IGN, interviewing Patricia Cloud, one of the few survivors of the destruction of the planet Earth, perhaps better known to many of our viewers as "Old Blue". She began.   
"Tell me, Patricia, can you tell me why Earth has earned this Psuedonym, so much more widespread than it's actual na Tales of the Blue: End

I got tagged.
I normally wouldn't hold with doing this, but it sounds interesting.

1: I have a mullet and love 80s music even though I was born in 1991.

2: My horrible eyesight officially puts me in the category of 'blind in one eye, can't see out the other'.

3: I suck at any kind of assigned writing.

4: I still like Nintendo and am willing to give them a chance.

5: I typically don't like a TV series until it is off TV.

6: I would play things like Dungeons and Dragons, but I can't find any groups to play with.

7: I don't really care about these online meme thingies, but I do them anyways.
